Notice

This Return, Warranty & Refund Policy ("Policy") is an Addendum and forms part of the Agreement between you, the website visitor, customer and user, and Bifrost Distribution (PTY) Ltd T/A Rebel Tech ("Rebel Tech", "we", "us", or "our") and such shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of South Africa.

We reserve the right, in our sole discretion, to make changes or modifications (“amendments”) to this Return, Warranty & Refund Policy (“Policy”) at any time and for any reason. Such amendments shall supersede and replace any previous version(s) of the Policy. We will alert you about any changes by updating the “Last Updated” date of this Policy, and you waive any right to receive specific notice of each such change.

It is your responsibility to periodically review this Policy to stay informed of updates. You will be subject to, and will be deemed to have been made aware of and to have accepted, the changes in this Policy by your continued use of the Site after the date such revised and/or amended Policy is posted.

If you’re looking to return products from your order, or even the entire order, for whatever reason, we're here to help! We have devised our return and warranty policies to cater to your specific circumstance. We will strive to make the return and warranty process as painless as possible for you.


Our Products

Our Return and Warranty policies are only applicable to the physical and digital products purchased on the Rebel Tech website (www.rebeltech.co.za).

Only the return policy and warranty, or policies and warranties, stipulated on the Product Information Page will be applicable to that product.

Return Policy

Standard Return Policy

We want you to be delighted with your purchase and for this reason, the majority of our products are covered by our hassle-free Standard Return Policy.

The Standard Return Policy refers to those products which state "Standard" under "Warranty and Return Information" on their product information page.

We will happily exchange, provide store-credit or a full refund for your products within the first fourteen (14) calendar days of purchase.

We will absolutely take back any products that are unopened and in their original condition.

If you are unhappy about your products and you have opened them, you are welcome to return them to us in their original condition, but please take note that a restocking fee of up to twenty-five percent (25%) of the purchase price may be applicable and will be deducted from your store-credit or refund.

30-Day Return Policy

We're so convinced you'll absolutely love our hand-selected products and for this reason, these products are covered by our hassle-free 30-Day Return Policy.

The 30-Day Return Policy refers to those products which state "30-Day" under "Warranty and Return Information" on their product information page.

We will happily exchange, provide store-credit or a full refund for your products within the first thirty (30) calendar days of purchase.

We will absolutely take back any product that is unopened and in its original condition.

If you are unhappy about your products and you have opened them, you are welcome to return them to us in their original condition, but please take note that a restocking fee of up to twenty-five percent (25%) of the purchase price may be applicable and will be deducted from your store-credit or refund.

Replacement Only Return Policy

There are certain products, that by their nature, can only be returned for a replacement. These products are covered by our hassle-free Replacement Only Return Policy.

We will happily provide a replacement for your products within the first fourteen (14) calendar days of purchase.

These products cannot be returned for an exchange, store-credit or refund.

Non-Returnable Return Policy

There are certain products, that by their nature, cannot be returned. These products fall under our Non-Returnable Return Policy.

The Non-Returnable Return Policy refers to those products which state "Non-Returnable" under "Warranty and Return Information" on their product information page.

These products cannot be returned for an exchange, store-credit or refund.

Incorrect / Damaged Return Policy

While we do our best to ensure that the products listed are accurate with their specifications and that the products you ordered are the products received, mistakes can happen.

Should you receive incorrect products please notify us within the first two (2) calendar days of purchase so that we can rectify the mistake.

We will absolutely take back any incorrect products that are unopened and in their original condition.

We will happily exchange, provide store-credit or a full refund for the incorrect products.

If your products arrived damaged, missing any parts or accessories please notify us within one (1) calendar day of purchase so that we can rectify the issue.

Cooling-off Period

In terms of Section 44 of the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act, 2002, you, as the consumer, are entitled to cancel without reason and without penalty any transaction for the supply of goods within seven (7) calendar days after the date of the receipt of the products or with regards to services, within seven (7) calendar days after the date of the conclusion of the agreement.

In the event that you cancel the transaction within the seven (7) calendar day's cooling-off period, the products purchased and delivered to you must be returned to us. You will be liable for the direct cost of returning the products.

Any products returned must be unopened, in the original condition and in good working order.

If payment for the products or services has been performed prior to you exercising your right in terms of the cooling-off period, you will be entitled to a full refund of such payment. The refund will be paid to you within seven (7) calendar days of the date of cancellation.


Used Not Abused

We want you to be delighted with your purchase and for this reason, products under this category are covered by our hassle-free Used Not Abused Policy.

The Used Not Abused Return Policy refers to those products which state "Used Not Abused" under "Warranty and Return Information" on their product information page.

Should you find that your products are defective, a 6 month in-house warranty is provided by Rebeltech. We will happily repair, or replace your products within the first six (6) months of purchase, being the purchase date as reflected on the tax invoice. This warranty does not cover a product if there is any evidence of misuse or modification. These products do not hold any manufacturers warranty.

Products under this category are pre-owned. Rest assured, all products have been tested and checked to ensure that they are in a reliable and working condition. These products come with secure, non-original packaging.

These products cannot be returned for store-credit or refund.


Additional Information

For all returns, with exception to the "Incorrect / Damaged Return Policy", you will need to send the products back to us at your own expense.

The original courier fee is non-refundable with exception to the "Incorrect / Damaged Return Policy".

We do not cross-ship, meaning that we will not process any returns during the time period when the product being returned to us is in transit. All returns have to be received, inspected and approved before an exchange, replacement, store-credit or refund is processed.

Discounted products are final and cannot be returned for an exchange, store-credit or refund, subject to the Cooling-off Period clause hereabove.

Any products returned to us that are not in their original condition (eg. missing manuals, warranty cards, accessories or other materials) cannot be returned for a replacement, exchange, store-credit or refund.

Warranty Policy

The Standard Warranty Policy refers to those products which state a "year" under "Warranty and Return Information" on their product information page.

All our products are covered by a minimum of one (1) year warranty.

Should you find that your products are defective, we will happily repair, replace, provide store-credit or a full refund for your products within the first six (6) months of purchase, being the purchase date as reflected on the tax invoice.

We will happily repair or replace your products that are defective after the first six (6) months of purchase, being the purchase date as reflected on the tax invoice.

Direct Warranty Policy

There are certain manufacturers that wish to manage their warranties themselves these products are covered by our Direct Warranty Policy.

The Direct Warranty Policy refers to those products which state a "Direct year" under "Warranty and Return Information" on their product information page.

Should you find that your products are defective, we will happily facilitate the discussions between yourself and the manufacturer.

We will do your utmost to have the defective products repaired, replaced, credited or fully refunded within the first six (6) months of purchase.

It is at the manufacturer's sole discretion as to what remedy they can offer you after the first six (6) months of purchase.

Extended Warranty Policy

Should you have purchased an extended warranty for your products, you will be covered by our Extended Warranty Policy.

The Extended Warranty Policy refers to those products which an extended manufacturer's warranty has been purchased and applied within the first thirty (30) days of purchase.

Should you find that your products are defective after the expiry of the Standard Warranty, we will happily facilitate the discussions between yourself and the manufacturer.

It is at the manufacturer's sole discretion as to what remedy they can offer you during the extended warranty period.

We will have no obligations towards you, and you will have no rights against us relating to the Extended Manufacturer’s Warranty as provider by the manufacturer to you.

Additional Information

All warranties will be subject to a warranty claim process and approval of the warranty claim by either Rebel Tech and/or the manufacturer.

Should a warranty claim be submitted and approved within one (1) year from date of purchase, we will cover all courier and/or transportation fees, including collection from you, and should a replacement be issued, the delivery of the replacement product will be free of charge.

Should a warranty claim be submitted and approved after one (1) year from date of purchase, you will be liable for all courier and/or transportation fees, including but not limited to collection, return, and any other transportation costs that might arise.

Should you have an unsuccessful warranty claim (eg. the product is NOT faulty) then you will be liable for all courier fees, and/or transportation fees and/or any other fess that might arise.

We do not cross-ship, meaning that we will not process any returns during the time period when the product being returned to us is in transit. All defective products have to be received, inspected and approved before a repair, replacement, store-credit or refund is processed.

The original courier fee, associated with the initial delivery of the products when purchased, is non-refundable.

Warranties on any of our products will be invalid should the products be opened, tampered with, altered or the serial number, manufacturer model, part number and/or warranty sticker is missing, damaged, altered, or otherwise unreadable. Warranties will be invalid should the defects be a result of wear and tear and/or physical damage.

Refund Policy

Standard Refund Policy

We know getting a refund can be stressful, but not with us. For this reason, we have a stress-free Standard Refund Policy.

The great news is that we do not charge any administrative charges for processing your refund.

Should you opt for a refund we will process your refund through your original payment method. 

Our goal is to process your refund within seven (7) calendar days.

Additional Information

Should you have paid by credit/debit card, please allow an additional ten (10) calendar days for the funds to reflect in your account.

Coupons and Gift Vouchers are non-refundable and cannot be redeemed for cash.

We regrettably cannot refund store-credit.

Sadly, we cannot refund or provide store-credit for any additional services, custom work or technical support as our time cannot be recovered.

Any credit and/or refund due to you will be subject to the manufacturer's warranty relating to the warranty time period and/or to the amount and/or percentage of the refund or credit Rebel Tech receives from the manufacturer.

Any refund claim must be submitted to us within the manufacturer's warranty period.
