Notice

This Shipping, Delivery and Store Pickup Policy ("Policy") is an Addendum and forms part of the Agreement between you, the website visitor, customer and user, and Bifrost Distribution (PTY) Ltd T/A Rebel Tech ("Rebel Tech", "we", "us", or "our") and such shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of South Africa.

We reserve the right, in our sole discretion, to make changes or modifications (“amendments”) to this Policy at any time and for any reason. Such amendments shall supersede and replace any previous version(s) of this Policy. We will alert you about any changes by updating the “Last Updated” date of this Policy, and you waive any right to receive specific notice of each such change.

It is your responsibility to periodically review this Policy to stay informed of updates and/or amendments. You will be subject to, and will be deemed to have been made aware of and to have accepted, the changes and/or amendments in and to this Policy by your continued use of the Site and/or shipping, delivery or store pickup services after the date such revised and/or amended Policy is posted.

If you are not satisfied with the amendments to the Policy, you should refrain from using the Site and from and/or the shipping, delivery or store pickup services


Shipping and Delivery

Our Couriers

At Rebel Tech we know that waiting for your order can be very stressful and patience-testing, for this reason, Rebel Tech have carefully chosen the following services of The Courier Guy (hereafter "TCG") and Direct Delivery (hereafter "Direct").

TCG has been in business since 2000 and has built a strong reputation through customer regulations and personal service. Over the last twenty (21) years, TCG has grown to over 100+ branches which have given them the ability to service all across the Republic of South Africa. They offer a wide variety of services from Same Day Express, Overnight, Normal Air to Economy to name a few. TCG and Rebel Tech have been in partnership for over eight (8) years, and they Would Love To Handle Your Package.

Direct delivery is often used for products that either very large, heavy or require specialist handling. These products are shipped directly from our supplier to your door.


Delivery Fee Calculation

The delivery fee will be calculated during the checkout process. You will be provided with a variety of service options to choose from depending on your location. These options do vary on delivery lead-times and pricing.

From time-to-time, certain products and/or order total will grant you free delivery. Should your order qualify, the free delivery service will be presented to you during the checkout process.


Shipping Lead Time

The average lead time between order preparation and courier handover is between one (1) to three (3) business days. These lead times depend on the products availability and the product's location.

We will do our best to ensure that these lead times are kept to a minimum.

We will not be obligated to ensure shipping within the lead time of one (1) to three (3) business days and you (the user and/or customer) hereby understand and agree that this shipping lead time is an average. Actual deliver may take longer than the average of one (1) to three (3) working days.

Large volume orders, special imports and custom build(s) may require longer lead times.

Fast-Track service, delivery within, on average, six (6) hours of providing you with confirmation that your order and payment has been received, might be available on select products, subject to, inter alia, supplier’s stock availability, at an additional charge.

We will not be obligated to ensure shipping within six (6) hours for the Fast-Track service and you (the user and/or customer) hereby understand and agree that this shipping lead time is an average. Actual deliver may take longer than the average of six (6) hours.


Delivery Lead Time

The average delivery lead time is dependent on the service and manner of delivery you have selected during the checkout process.

Herewith an indication of the expected average delivery lead time:

  • Economy - delivery typically in one (1) to three (3) business days.
  • Normal Air - delivery typically in one (1) to two (2) business days.
  • Overnight - delivery typically in one (1) business day.
  • Fast-Track - delivery typically before the end of that business day.

Delivery Restrictions

Orders are only handed over to the courier company on business days, which are Monday to Friday, and during business hours, being from 8 am to 5 pm. The courier company does not collect orders over weekends and public holidays.

A full physical address is required as deliveries are done door-to-door only.

We can not deliver to the following:

  • PO Boxes
  • Chain Stores
  • Farms
  • Embassies
  • Mines
  • Government Building

Our couriers typically deliver between 8 am and 5 pm on business days. After hours and weekend delivery services are by request only and will carry an additional charge payable by you, the user and/or customer.

Not all courier services are available for all addresses or times and delivery will be subject to and dependent on the courier service’s manner and method of delivery.

Regrettably, we do not offer deliveries to and/or ship to addresses outside of the Republic of South Africa.


Additional Information

The shipping lead time, being the lead time from order to collection by the courier, starts from the date your order is confirmed, not the date on which the order is placed. For example, if you place your order on Tuesday night and it is processed on Wednesday, it will typically be handed over to the courier by Monday the following week.

The delivery lead time, being the lead time from collection by the couriers to delivery to you, starts once your order has been handed over to the courier company.

Rebel Tech reserves the right to hold off on the delivery of any order for a security review and in order to ensure that the payment received has cleared and reflects in our bank account. If your order is affected, you will be notified within two (2) business days.

Store Pickup

Collection Lead Time

The average lead time between order preparation and having your order ready for store pickup is between one (1) to three (3) business days. These average lead times depend on the products availability and the product's location. Rebel Tech will do its best to ensure that these lead times are kept to a minimum.

We will not be obligated to ensure store pickup within the lead time of one (1) to three (3) business days and you (the user and/or customer) hereby understand and agree that this store pickup lead time is an average. Actual store pickup may take longer than the average of one (1) to three (3) working days.

On-Hand products may be available for store pick up in approximately two (2) hours after order confirmation.

We will not be obligated to ensure store pickup of on-hand products within the lead time of two (2) hours and you (the user and/or customer) hereby understand and agree that this store pickup lead time is an average. Actual store pickup of on-hand products may take longer than the average of two (2) hours.

Large volume orders, special imports and custom build(s) may require longer lead times.


Collection Restriction

Orders are only available during Rebel Tech's trading hours, which are Monday to Friday 8:30 am and 5 pm. Weekends and public holidays are excluded.

Orders will only be released and available for store pickup on full payment and receipt of that payment.


Collection Requirements

Should you (the customer and/or user and/or purchaser) be collecting your order personally, the following will be required:

  • Proof of Identification (e.g. Photo ID / Drivers License) and,
  • Order Number

Should you (the customer and/or user and/or purchaser) be sending a Third-Party to collect your order on your behalf, the following will be required:

  • A copy of the customer and/or user and/or purchaser’s proof of identification and,
  • Proof of the Third-Party’s Identification (e.g. Photo ID / Drivers License),
  • Authorisation, signed by you (the customer and/or user and/or purchaser), authorising the Third-Party to attend to the in-store pickup and collection of the order, and
  • Order Number

Additional Information
